The ritual

Three steps. No guesswork.

/ 01

Weigh

Start with the ratio. Dose logs the exact grams so every cup is a repeatable experiment.

/ 02

Grind

The right grind for the method. Dose remembers it, so you never dial in twice.

/ 03

Pour

Bloom, spiral, and time it. Dose watches the clock and scores the extraction.

02

Everything but the pour

Brew smarter, not harder.

Bean library

Every origin, roast, and tasting note — logged and searchable.

Extraction score

Dose grades every brew and tells you the one tweak that fixes it.

Brew timer built in

Bloom, pour, and total time tracked so the clock does the remembering.

Taste matching

Log a note, and dose recommends beans and recipes you'll actually like.

Recipes that repeat

Lock in your best cup and hit repeat every single morning.

Roasters & cuppings

The roasters we trust, plus weekly public tastings.

04

The flavor wheel

Twelve notes, one cup.

Every brew gets mapped to a wheel. Log a taste, and dose finds the beans and recipes that match it.

From the cupping table of Elena Ruiz

The best cup is the one you measure.

Most people don't have a recipe — they have a habit. A scoop, a guess, a kettle off the boil whenever it feels right. Some mornings it's perfect. Most mornings it's just close.

We built dose for the gap between those two. Not to make coffee precious, but to make the good cup repeatable. Twenty grams. Three hundred grams of water. Ninety-four degrees. Four minutes. Write it down once, and it's yours forever.

That's the whole idea. Not fancier coffee — just the same good cup, every single morning.

What if I brew with a machine?+
Dose works with anything that makes coffee — espresso, drip, pour over, or a $20 french press.
Is it free?+
Yes — the journal, recipes, and bean library are free during beta and stay free after launch.
